Shameful service

I had recently had warranty work done on my water heater by Cool Blew, the replaced a valve and then began to tell me I needed another part. when they began to tell me it would be $200 dollars, and my warranty wouldnt fix it, they started getting pushy about getting me to agree to this price. finally a gave in to their bullying price and watched them put in the part. It took only 5 minutes to put in this little brass valve and I couldnt believe it had costed so much. I later ran up to home depot, amazed to my suprise, the part they had put it had only costed $13 dollars. So at this point I realized I had totally been taken advantage of. They were being paid by my warranty company, and double dipping by what I felt cheating me, someone who knows nothing of plumbing trade. I spoke with the owner of this company, expressing how I felt, and telling him I felt like I was a victim from being taken total advantage of, and his words to me were "Well I am willing to take that reflection". So I appologized to this man named Bob, the owner, to him, and for his employees John, and Scott and told them to take care.
Always got more than I expected

I've used Cool Blew on a couple of occassions for general service on my HVAC. I have never had any issues with them and in fact, the technician was so nice as to rewire my thermostat -- I had installed it incorrectly. Once he rewired it everything worked like a charm and he didn't charge me one cent extra. I would recommend Cool Blew to other homeowners in my area.
Expensive, dishonest

Had a $25 coupon that they said (over the phone) could be applied to service call. Technician refused to accept it. During the service call, the technician first said that they would need to take out my whole A/C system, which would cost thousands, then he decided that "maybe" it was okay to just "balance" the system for $320. I called another company and had my A/C pressure balanced for $70. Do not trust these guys. I think the original statement about costing thousands of dollars to take out the A/C system was a gimmick to prep me for the $320 pitch to balance my system.
